The shape and form are what matter to me.
Only an already pleasing pot can be enhanced by
the addition of decoration and color.
Working in clay was a near lifelong interest for me. One of those activities that was always admired, but never attempted.
Finally, after retirement, the opportunity arose. So here I am with 14 years of training and practice, only to realize that I have just touched what can be done.
Having Annie join me in this hobby a few years ago opened many new paths, most not yet really explored. Our recent efforts at collaborative works already show promise.
We are fortunate to attend Penland School of Crafts in NC most years. An extraordinary experience !
